Carnoccus
God of the Forest realm
Many millennia ago, the Sun God (aka the Wicker God) created the Sun and the light that shone upon the world while the Forest God created the trees and the plants to steal life from the Sun.
Capturing his light and storing it deep underground in vessels, called ‘Domhan-Croi’ (aka ‘Earth-hearts’), they feed off the Sun God’s creation, feasting on the essence within his light and draining him slowly with each passing day.
Carnoccus sits safe underground surrounded by a hoard of stored ‘life’. The vassals that serve him tend to the bulbous vessels in which life is stored and gather them in his chambers, feeding his intention on being the only God to live forever.
